Internet access in rooms

I know that there is free wi-fi for members staying on points at the resorts, but does anyone know if the rooms have the ability to access the internet via a cable connection? (eathernet maybe?) Our laptop is acting up and is not reading wi -fi signals, but when we plug that cable into our router and laptop, it works.

I would be wondering specifically about BLT and Kidani.

Actually free computer acess but rooms are not wired for WiFi. We are bringing a small router from home so we can do wireless.

You have it reversed. Free wired connection in the rooms and a $9.95/24 hour charge for WiFi in the common areas of the resort.

They only provide a 5 foot cable which is hanging in a bag in the closet, so you might want to bring a longer one.

The offsite DVCs may have free wifi. WDW DVC resorts all have wired ethernet cable access.

I know that HHI has free wi-fi in all resort rooms. Before 2008 (I think that's when it began), there was free wi-fi, but only in certain common areas of the resort.
