Internet Access and Routers

I bet there are others out there that will appreciate this help too. I know that's what I keep finding here, I'll find a thread where someone asked a question I wanted to ask......... but was too afraid to. for all uf us, thanks for sharing your expertise


Now all I need to do is wait for my 18yo to get up so he can hold myhand through the process. Guess I'll be waiting for a while!

I'm here at OKW right now. A storm is coming through so just surfing. I'm using my wireless router. I have a Dlink travel router. I plugged the eternet cable in and plugged in the power cord in the wall and I've had no problem whatsoever. I did do my set up at home. I'm been using it all week. My acceptance screen comes up daily. So no problem with internet and using a wireless router here in building #12.

hi semi-neighbor we are over in the south point area. guess I messed up by bringing my new fancy model and should have stuck with the old linksys. now I know and won't make the mistake again

and weren't those some nice storms...I was at MK for the mass exodus, luckily I arrived 2 min before the total downpour and milled around the stores until the storm passed. then I went to the dessert party, it was DEAD! And 10 min after Wishes should have started they said they were cancelled. Oh well we had some yummy desserts

We have the same router. It works great. About the size of a credit card, 1/4 inch thick.

Yes that's it. I am no tech at all. So it did take me an afternoon at home to get it set up and get my password set. It's been working great. We are in a studio so without it I would be sitting on the bed using my netbook throughout this stay.

Yes it was ugly. We went to the dark side (Universal) and came home around 3:00PM. Stopped at the store and picked up snacks and dinner in case the storm kept us in. Around 5:00PM we hunkered down and spent the time in our room. No problem. Heading to MK today and looking forward to some nice afternoons the rest of the week.
