International Pen Pals..CLOSED

I know there was recently a thread about pen pals on the DIS. However I noticed those who showed an interest were mainly from the US.

I have approximately 30 people in the UK who are interested in having an International Pen Pal.

So, if anyone likes the sound of corresponding with someone over the pond then let me know.

This is NOT an exchange...

All that is required of you here is an interst and willingnes to write to someone outside your own country.

When and if you post your interest.. could you also say if you prefer snail or e-mail or either please.

If you are interested I'll need to you send me your e-maiil addy please.. I am sending everyone a PEN PAL INFO SHEET to fill in and return to me.

When I find you a pal I will send them your info sheet and send you theirs.


IMPORTANT! If you Pm me with your interest, please keep a eye on this thread for any updates. I will occasionally post the info of someone from the UK, the first in with the PM gets that person.

Do any have children who would like to be a penpal? My DD8 had a penpal in LA but they lost contact after Katrina and I know she really enjoyed having a penpal who lived in another state--I'm sure she'd love one from even farther away!

As yet it's only Adults... but I will certainly ask to see if anyone does have a child who would be interested.

Actually, that isn't completely true. Both of my pen pals are from another country. One from Canada and the other from the UK. I'm very excited about both.


I noticed you said mainly and not all, but I just wanted you to know that I got two from another country. One was chosen for me, Canada, and I chose the other, UK.

That is why I said mainly from the US... I did notice there was at least one Canadian and one from the UK on that thread.... difference here is that there are 31 people in the UK looking for International pals. The opposite of the previous thread

Only thing is they are not members of the Dis as such.. but a UK Disney forum that is not connected to the DIS.

I'm happy for you that you got 2 pen pals outside the US. Go for it!

I've had had pals in 8 diff countries as well as my own for many years, and it's a great learning experience.

I had tons of pen pals years ago, but lost touch with them. I kind of miss writing letters.
