International Money Order

Hey guys, where can I get hold of an international money order. Nothing else will do as the people I need to pay will not accept electronic payment of any kind. It has to be somethink akin to a cheque.

I use to work at Barclays and I was the person that issued IMO's..but I think you will have to get it from your own bank..
10 years ago they were quite cheap to do but not sure nowadays as its paper based. You can also get an internation draft drawn in US $ from Barclays. I wonder if the post office will do it for you but not sure they do paper based international transfers. I wonder why they won't accept an electronic payment as I assume they are going to pay the IMO into a bank account?! They obviously don't want to let you know any of their bank details and are willing to wait ages for the money instead of a day or two...strange
