International Gateway Parking, Nighttime Spectacular Strategy

Hi Everyone,

What is the closest parking to the International Gateway entrance?

It's a bit complicated but this is why I'm asking.

I will be in Disney World for 3 and a half days. My plan is that on Sunday (arrival day) I will do Animal Kingdom. I will probably be there until they close at 8. I would like to do Magic Kingdom on Monday, Epcot Tuesday and DHS Wednesday. I'm assuming I will finish early at DHS and would like to go back to the Magic Kingdom but I don't want to miss Fantasmic.
I'm wondering if I can do Illuminations at 9 on Sunday if I leave animal Kingdom at 8? I will have a car and I would try to park near the International Gateway to save time. This way I can do Wishes on Monday and on Tuesday after finishing Epcot I can do Fantasmic. Does this strategy make sense?

You could always make an ADR somewhere at the Beach Club or the Boardwalk for after Illuminations and self park at the resort or valet park at either.

I'm not familiar with the Fantasmic schedule. Is it possible to do Fantasmic on Sunday? Then see Illuminations on Tuesday, your Epcot day? Otherwise, valet parking at the Beach Club would be your best option for getting to Illuminations.

If you're in your car at 8 you should be fine for illuminations. Won't save too much time at IG. No parking near there that will save you meaningful time (unless you're set on a specific spot near there). Still will be a bit of a walk. By car, 15 minutes to Epcot - 20 to 30 to park and walk to spot near front of park.
