Has anyone eaten here??? Could you give an idea of the prices as well as how the food taste. any info would be great!

Thanks:jester:

Yes I have eaten there, as I posted in my Teen's Perspective. Though I didn't really specify.

The International Food Festival has 3 different "types" of food including American (fried chicken and biscuits and something else....argh! I forgot), Italtian (pasta and breadsticks and pizza) and Chinese (sweet and sour chicken and other stuff).

Oh dear...I don't have as much info as I thought. I'm going back this weekend and try to sneak in there and jot down some information into my little notebook and get back to you (yes yesterday I brought a notebook to write down information...but didn't get around to it much because I was busy drooling at 4 different Ghostbusters Shows....LOL)

Prices are I believe between 7 and 9 dollars. Though I am not 100% sure about this..,

Anyone else know "for sure"?

The food is pretty decent. Same as Comic Strip Cafe at IOA. Worth trying for a quick lunch.

Oh! And may I recommend Cafe La Bamba!!

It's located right beside Horror Makeup Show (across the little street; diagnol from Mel's).

They have Rotisserie Chicken and ribs and fries and yummy cornbread and key lime pie and chocolate cake slices....

It looks "formal and expensive" on the outside but it's a cafe. Portions are LARGE.

My mom split a chicken meal with her mom and sister! Yes between the 3 of them! You get a couple pieces of chicken, a cornbread, fries, a large drink, and a dessert for about $12! Not bad! An additional cornbread is I believe $1.29 A side of fries is $1.99 don't remember the other prices. I then I remember seeing something for about $8.

PS - You can choose what you want for chicken...white or dark meat. Sometimes they forget to ask so speak up! My mom had gotten a drumstick and thigh (still together) as well as a breast. This was yesterday when we went.

Also, Since we got only one meal, the lady behind serving us asked if we wanted an additional plate (without us mentioning it!!) We said no thanks (I got my buffalo chicken at Hard Rock...carryout) and we went to the register to pay. The cash register lady then asked us if we would like an additional plate! These people know what people want! Whenever we WANT an additional plate somehwere else, we have to request it. These employees are right on! Bonus points for this place!!

Food's delicious too!

We were not real impressed, it is like a mall food court, nothing special. There are better places to eat at Universal.

Thanks for the info........ I look forward to your post and the info.

Webray,,,,,,, where do you suggest?? What is good, but NOT overly expensive. We will be there a week, and with 5 people it will add up. Do you think it is a good idea to go outside of the park to eat??? Any ideas would be great.

Thanks
