International Dinner and IllumiNations Dessert Reception

Hi all.....I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this event yet. If so, can you tell me what it is all about? Where is it held? What kind of food is there? Is it a buffet? And how you enjoyed it. Any other info you would like to add would be great also......thanks

We did this in Jan. The food is buffet and there are multiple stations. here was Italian, German, Asian, and several others, as well as a kids' buffet. The food was pretty good. They bring you in the the room ( at the Odessey) one party at a time and we were one of the last parties in (although we were one of the 1st there!) B/c of that, we felt rushed eating. Drink service was very slow. They had storytelling with the kids participating and of coarse characters (I think Goofy and Minnie). Then we were brought to a special viewing area for dessert and Illuminations. View was great, dessert was okay. Glad we did it but doubt I'd do it again.

I didn't do the Epcot dinner but did do the AK Safari Dinner. It was wonderful and I would definitely do it again.

Anyone got a link to get more information on this event? Sounds interesting, and I've never seen anything on it.
