Hello Fort Wilderness Experts!!

I have reservations for Trails End. I will be driving there from Animal Kingdom. I understand I will have to park in the parking lot in the front (Sadly, I'm not staying at the Fort) and take the internal bus.

My question is: How much time do I need to allow to get from the front to the back? I'm assuming the internal bus makes other stops along the way??

By the way - my ressie is for 5:45- if that makes a difference:confused3

Can anyone help??

I would say about 30 minutes. As far as which bus to take, your first choice should be Settlement Yellow, then Settlement Purple, then Settlement Orange should be your last choice. They all go to the same place, but have different routes, and Settlement Yellow has fewer stops.

To help you a bit further, here is a map which shows the three internal bus routes:

As you can see, these all run from the Outpost (front parking lot) to the Settlement (Pioneer Hall/Marina).

Clkelley is right (as always), the yellow route has the least number of stops. But, there are signs right there at the Outpost bus stop which will tell you to take any of the buses marked Settlement, as they will all stop there. Even though the purple and orange routes have more stops, I would take the first internal bus that shows, as you never know whether you just missed the yellow bus, and you could be waiting 20 minutes or so for the next one.

Thanks TCD!

You have a good point about taking the first one that comes, I hadn't thought about that.

Thank you both for all your help!! :disrocks:
