In the past, they always tried to put out the parade regardless of weather conditions, they gambled. If you have never seen the parade get caught in a downpour, it is quite a site! The parade stops, and all walking characters are evacuated. Then the floats start back up, but in 5th gear! Bet you never thought those floats could move this fast! :lmao:

But now they have a back up parade, and it's pretty good!

Not sure how long this has been going on, but it is pretty smart!:thumbsup2

LOL! Jeeeeez! They were flying. :lmao:

"Stay off of Main Street, kids!"

I like the new rainy day parade. I didn't know about that one. It makes total sense to me though. I can't imagine how miserable a wet fur suit is. It's bad enough to be all hot an humid in there, let alone having it 30lbs heavier soaked with water. I bet it was a costuming maintence nightmare too.

What a good idea!

Not only is it safer for the CMs, but, it creates a new reason for people to come to the parks on a rainy day--gotta see the parade that only happens on special days!

that was funny!! I have never seen a parade move so fast!! :)

I like the rain day parade as well... pretty good idea!! still gives guest a parade of some kind.
