Interisting move on Disney

In the past, they always tried to put out the parade regardless of weather conditions, they gambled. If you have never seen the parade get caught in a downpour, it is quite a site! The parade stops, and all walking characters are evacuated. Then the floats start back up, but in 5th gear! Bet you never thought those floats could move this fast!

I like the new rainy day parade. I didn't know about that one. It makes total sense to me though. I can't imagine how miserable a wet fur suit is. It's bad enough to be all hot an humid in there, let alone having it 30lbs heavier soaked with water. I bet it was a costuming maintence nightmare too.

Not only is it safer for the CMs, but, it creates a new reason for people to come to the parks on a rainy day--gotta see the parade that only happens on special days!

I like the rain day parade as well... pretty good idea!! still gives guest a parade of some kind.
