DH and DS (7) asked what I would like for breakfast this morning in honor of Mother's Day, so I requested pancakes. As DH and DS are walking to the kitchen I hear them discussing "how do you make them?" It is very comical listening to them as they muddle through my breakfast this morning, it really warms a moms heart. After listening to them, I am curious to know just how yummy they turn out. :teeth:

Hope all the DIS mom's have a great Mother's Day today!!

HOW SWEET!!!! HAPPY EATING!!!!! AND HAPPY MOTHERSDAY!!!

Yum.....I just got the most beautiful cards, magnet, and a viola in a decorated styrofoam cup with a pink pipe cleaner handle! My DS, 8, gave me a great note-fill in the blanks. He has a learning disability and is reading at a pre-k to k level so this really brought tears to my eyes! His favorite meal I make, lol, did he list the wonderful homemade specials both me and his Dad make.....nooooo, he wrote "spagetio an metbal"! I make him laugh when I "ticl him" and his favorite book I read to him is the "runawy buny"! I will treasure this forever! Enjoy your day and your pancakes!

Sounds as if your Mother's day is starting right. :p I'm the first one up this morning, had to let the dogs out. I started the pot of coffee.

Ok, my husband just shuffled out of the bedroom, and mumbled morning, and expressed his approval of the fresh coffee.:drinking1 But I know once he comes too, he will make breakfast. Yep, now he is making eggs, hasbrowns, and sausage.

Happy Mother's Day Everyone!! :rose: :rose:

Happy mothers day, we all deserve to be pampered, MOTHERS ARE SPECIAL! :D

Hey, have I been tagged? I have a note about Beverly!!! :jumping1:

Ha! That's why we're going OUT for pancakes. I want to ENJOY my breakfast. :D It's 9am right now and my DS3 is STILL asleep. Of course, yesterday when it was my turn to get up with him, he was up at 7am. Oh, well, at least I'm getting my pancakes!!!!

I envy those ya'll who actually get to stay home with your families on Mother's Day and get special breakfast. :( My breakfast was cold Cheerios with a glass of water and my vitamen. I had to get up early to feed James (not that I cared of course :teeth: ) and in abou 20 min I have to go to work.

Happy Mother's Day anyway ya'll.

...as long as they clean up the mess, right?;) Happy Mother's day.

My 9yo DD made me a Mickey Omelet with toast. Just to be on the safe side I microwaved it for a bit, it looked a little runny and I can't eat eggs that way. It was fine though she did come and ask if I was finished because she wanted the rest. :teeth: Very sweet, I'm not sure what I'll do with the snake she made for me but maybe I'll find a place for it. She might volunteer to put it in her room!

Forgot to say how you make a Mickey Omelet, she cooked the egg and roughly shaped ears - used bacon bits to make a face.

Because my Boys' Grade Primary Teacher - kind of like kindergarten:), except in school - took their pictures on their first day of school, saved them, and then made them into flowers...kind of a "See how I've Grown for You"...

TOOOOO Cute!!!

Happy Mother's Day!!
