I just looked up on my Sky+ box, and it appears that they are finally going to show the fabled "Best of Top Gear" episode that was thought never to air after Richard Hammond's near-fatal car crash. The episode is going to be shown at 8PM on BBC 2 this Sunday.
My question is that does this mean that the next series of TG is soon to follow, or are the BBC trying to find something to fill their schedules now that it's Autumn and they haven't anything to show thanks to the crash?
I personally doubt we'll get to see any new TG for awhile. With their 'Best' presenter out for a while (We know this as lots of non-motor loving people; particulary women watch the show just to see him. Isn't that right Mandy..
) I doubt the BBC would let the show continue without him.
They may just get away with it if they they get the Woman from Germany in again..
