I had a co-worker whose father used to "channel the spirit of an ancient Atlantian doctor". He predicted a huge tidal wave to hit the east coast one year on June 18th. It was going to wipe out NYC and NJ. He paid for 2 of his 3 daughters to go to the Poconos because they would be safe. My co-worker was left to her own devices. Good thing she already knew her father was a quack and didn't take it personally.

I am with you. I do love the hysteria that happens though when someone does "predict" the end it keeps me entertained.

I just read on internet that the world is coming to an end on May 21, 2011. Well I am so happy I will be spending my last day at WDW. The happiest place on earth!!!!
I just thought it was funny that my plans worked out that way.

Why are these end of days always after my mortgage day rather than before? I could spend the mortgage money on something more interesting. At leats its a day off though.
