Interesting article on VMK

I'm going to take a wild guess and say some of the players not wanting the Fab 5 in the game are the ones running around occupied by taken, babies, and all that fun stuff... I mean, how dare actual characters get in the way of real fun!

Seriously VMK, those saying they don't want the Fab 5... do you really think they're all that likely to go to WDW, DL, or other Disney parks? If those places aren't crawling with the Fab 5, then what else is? Marketing to those folks is not all that likely to be helpful in terms of generated park revenue.

Madness. It's a sad state of affairs when The Fab Five are not wanted in the Magic Kingdom.

This article is pretty old, so I'm thinking they MIGHT have a change of heart on this issue in the future (crossing my fingers for Toontown to be added to VMK!). I don't know where the heck they got these tweens they polled...did they only poll ones who hate Disney??? Aye yi yi!

VMK, if you're reading this...let it be known that the MAJORITY of us who devote so much time into the game WANT OUR FAB FIVE!

Well you know we can all explode VMK with that Fab 5 suggestion Didn't we get alot of things from our Dis comments? We can try Maybe the majority of the kids then didn't want the gang but we do....and we're special

oops, I forget I am not the target audience, just one of the "Adults' who play VMK over 80 minutes a day every day but then who cares.about us.....our money ain't no good anyway.

VMK is definitly geared more towards the marketing side. Movie Promotions, DVD releases, the theme parks, etc. And given that it is "free" (only costs your time! Except for those pin's you have to buy to get the cards...) I'm not surprised at the marketing content. BUT I wish they would incorporate more "Classic Disney" into the game -- Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip, Dale, etc. A nice start maybe with Alice and the Fantasy land, but I'd love to see more down the road.
