Interesting about Uggs from the outlet

Went to Woodbury Commons Uggs Outlet to buy DD14 her first pair of Uggs. The reason I went to the outlet is they told me that their Uggs have a better tread than the ones purchased from other places. This means that they are better for walking, more comfortable. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Oh, I paid $150 for the Essential Short (looks identical to the Classic style)

Just curious, how do the outlet prices compare to regular retail?

I found the outlet price to be the same as any other place except now that I found out the tread is better than it is a better deal. $150 for short is what I paid plus $20 for a cleaning kit.

Edit - But I did see another style Ugg that was $129 but DD did not like that one. It was grey and I think the other color was tan with a flower pattern.

FWIW, stick with your basics and you should be fine. The quality is hard to beat, another case of you get what you pay for. My hurls are on the third year on their tall classic boots, still look brand new. Older daughter and I are starting our second year with the slip on moccasin slippers with the tie, both look brand new. I may give mine a rest soon as I'm starting to see more local stores carrying them. I enjoyed being unique for a while!
