My brother and I are extreme Disney fans and get together once a week just to talk about our dream to move to Florida (from Minnesota).
We LOVE WDW and especially Epcot. You might love it just as much as we do but I'd find it hard to believe anyone loves it more than we do! In fact, if you don't believe me check out our backyard Imagineering project we called Minicot and the best of the 3 videos was our own Homemade Soarin attraction.
OK, so we had wanted to do a podcast for a while and there are a lot of great Disney podcasts so we took a different approach. We call it "Recapturing the Future" and the basic idea is that we once had a better vision of the future and now we seemed to have lost that exciting vision that made us excited about transportation, modern living, space travel, living in the sea's, you get the idea. The idea was mostly influenced by the 39 and 64 Worlds Fairs, Walts original plans for Epcot, and the Horizons attraction at Epcot.
We just finished a three part series on Epcot where we talk about the original plans, Epcot in the 80's and 90's and Epcot now. We had some great interviews as in the second and third episodes we took virtual tours of Epcot and covered each attraction in Future World portion of Epcot.
So wanted to let you know. You can search for "Dreamers Empire" at itunes or go to Recapturing the Future at itunes
Would love to get your feedback and hope you enjoy the podcast! The Epcot series is podcasts 2,3,4. But you will like #1 too as we cover Disney there as well
