Hi! In April we are going on our first 7 night cruise. We are going to WDW for two days afterwards. I was considering trying to sign up for the Cinderella Breakfast at the Castle in the Magic Kingdom but wondered if my two dd will have already had enough character time on the ship to not warrant it. We will probably do the Tea with Wendy, character breakfast on the ship, and any other character activities. Anyone ever done the Cinderella Breakfast and recommend it even after doing the activities with characters on the ship???

Yes, I would still book the Cinderella breakfast at the castle. Even though you see the characters on the ship, I doubt your DD's would tire of seeing Cindy.

The character breakfast onboard was not as great as we had anticipated. We were on three 7 day cruises so far, and all three times only a few of the characters present made it around to all the tables during the course of the meal.

You will definitely interact with characters onboard, but still go the Cindy breakfast!!!

Did you go to the Cinderella Bfast yourself? If so, how was it? If not, do you know anyone who has? I heard that it sells out a few minutes after the exact time you can start booking for it. I'll have to find out when that would be for our trip.

We did go awhile ago, and yes....it does sell out very fast. That's why I would book it anyway, and then if you decide you have had enough character interaction, cancel when you get to WDW. (or do they charge your credit card for this one...I can't remember).

It was a very nice breakfast and Cindy looked great. I believe Prince Charming was there also.

We spent a week at WDW on 2001, my DD was 2 1/2. Anyway, Cinderella is her absolute favorite, so I decided last minute to see if we could get in. I called without mentioning it to her, because I didn't have much faith in being able to book, and amazingly got in for the first seating about 8:30 the next morning. So even if you can't make ressies from home, keep calling even after you get there. People even cancel on Cinderella!

from what I've read they have changed the rules and now you do have to use a credit card to book. I think it has made it "alittle" easier to get. The c/c has eliminated people booking and then auctioning off the ressies.

With that said, we did Cindy's (1st time) last trip and I don't think I would do it again. Yes, it was great to see inside the castle. But Cindy was having a bad hair day - as they called it - and didn't show for our breakfast:(

So we had to come back later in the day and stand in line downstairs in the castle with people from earier seatings. Not what I expected and it did sort of damper the fun of the breakfast. For us I guess it was a real once in a lifetime thing :D
