Adobe has released a new version of Shockwave that works with Intel based Macs. Use this link because the main link on the Adobe web page still takes you to the old link that tells you to use Rosetta.

Make sure you turn off Rosetta emulation. After installing I still get the popup that said you needed to install Shockwave. I clicked cancel and got the login screen and was able to play VMK. Had no problems with Pirates or Ghosts. Fireworks had problems with mouse clicks so You may not want to upgrade if you play Fireworks. This should be faster then running with Rosetta emulation.
