I'm on insuremytrip.com , and they quote $1250 for trip cancellation. I know this sounds stupid, but that is for each person which totals the cost of the trip? If im reading this right, I basically get all my money back I paid for the trip. If so, insurance from that website is much cheaper than thru DCL.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks:teeth:

I got vacation insurance for $300.00 which covers all four of us , 2 adults, 2 kids 10 & 5 (not incl. air, I did air on my own, it is cheaper and only $25.00 to change if I have to- Jet Blue) for entire vac. package (4 nites AKL, 7 day eastern). I used Buddy Helland from Magic Kingdom Vacations 866-779-Magic (6244) He hooked me up!!! www.kingdommagictravel.com

where can you get the insurance? mine didnt ask me and Im wondering about getting it just in case. tia

Ask your TA about the Disney Vacation Travel Protection Plan, follow second link above to read about plan. I think that there are many different plans out there. I think with all of the things that have happened in the past it is a good idea to have it. (hurricanes, terrorism, medical emergencies, etc.) Heres hoping it is bought but never needed!!!

I got my insurance through Global...which is the company my ta uses. It cost me 69.00 and my sons 49.00 for both cruise and air. It covers full refund for various reasons.
