Insurance for pins

Does anyone here have their pins covered by thie homeowner's insurance?
I am thinking of calling my agent today to get some info. I thought I could use my Pinpics list as a tracker. If your pins are insured, how do you keep track for your insurance purposes?

Get a written appraisal, or itemize your pins and state their cost in a notarized statement.
Just to figure out your premiums your estimate is fine but, if you needed to file a claim, the written note would not hurt.
