Has anyone ever switched their reservation from a TA back to DCL or to another TA? The TA that booked us isn't with the agency anymore. I am not impressed with the new/other staff and after reading the Very frustrated with TA thread I'm wondering if changing is possible. TIA :wave2:
 
All you have to do is call the TA & tell them that is what you want them to do. If they claim that it isn't possible, insist on talking to a supervisor.
 
You can also call DCL and they will contact the TA and have it switched to DCL. My AAA agent told me that.
 
I tried this and the TA told me I couldn't and that they only way was to completely cancel my current reservations.
 

I have the feeling that this agency will just give us the cancel option too, that is if they even reply to the request. :rolleyes:

DCL told me the agency has to fax them written authorization to transfer it to them or another agency.

So I guess the moral of the story is book with someone you know and trust. We'll just have to hope for the best this time and come back here to report on it afterwards.
