Inspired by the Welcome Thread...does anyone remember Patty??

When I first came to the DIS I was welcomed by a lady named Patty. I **think** she lives in Minn. but I'm not sure. I'm not talking about Patti that still posts, I'm great friends with her....this was another Patty. What I remember about her is that she had twins. She also sent me pictures and information in the mail for our first trip to Disney. Then when we got there we met for a few minutes outside of Caseys. She was really petite and had blonde hair.

Does anyone remember her?? This would have been oh 1999ish????

There was a lady named PatMN that used to post here. She would often take her children and grandchildren to WDW. Is this who you are referring to, Beth? I know she lived in Minnesota, but I have no idea if she was a petite blonde. She was very nice though, she was a regular on the Inspiration Board, and then she just sort of dropped out of sight.

HauntedMansionGeek above is PatMN, Snoop. Not sure whom you are speaking of, Beth.

No, Haunted Mansion Greek was not the person I am referring to, Dan. I am talking about PatMN, that was not Patti's original username, was it Patti?

As I said, the person I am talking about was a mother and grandmother (I know Patti is too), but this person was widowed. And she lived in Minnesota as well.

That could be her Snoops. I do think she had the twins, maybe 7 or so at the time and grandchildren......I know she went to Disney with her brother and his family and she did live in MN. I also know she stayed at Dixie Landings alot.

Oh well, who knows....like Tony said that was really a long long time age.....gosh I've been here forever...LOL!

I know she used to post on LilMermaid's board, I think the name of the place was The Grotto? I'm not sure if that board is still in existence, but I remember seeing her there a couple of years ago when I ocassionally posted there.

PatMN is still around. She posts at Mania and Mickey's Retreat. She has 2 grown daughters, and a few grandchildren. I do not believe she has ever stayed at Dixie Landings, I am pretty sure they usually rent a house when they go to WDW.

waughzee, yes, thank you - that is exactly who I am talking about. I remember a trip report of hers from when they rented the house - it was her and her daughters and their husbands and children. She was very sweet, tell her I said hi if you see her anytime soon. She may remember me, we were always friendly back then.

Karen, you are thinking of DisMN, who is now Haunted Mansion Greek. She never really left, just changed names. Her name is also Patti and she is from MN, but this is a whole different Pat that Beth is thinking of.

BTW, I also saw Floydian recently on another website. It was nice to "see" him after all this time. He was one of my first DIS friends.

Serena, tell me about it! It was driving me crazy yesterday, hoping someone would come along and remember PatMN. I get worked up over the silliest things! LOL!

And I was driving myself crazy trying to remember Patti's original username. I remembered it at the dinnertable - DisMN, and I just about did a cartwheel that it finally came to me.
