my grandparents used Winn Dixie Brand peanut butter, which they kept in the 'fridge . I REFUSED to eat the stuff, because even as a small child I knew "choosy mothers choose jif".
Smuckers All Natural. It takes some getting used to if you were raised on the partially hydrogenated, drowned in sugar peanut butter that most of us eat, but now I can't imagine ever going back.
Lately (on the South Beach Diet) I've been trying some of the natural peanut butters (no sugar added, not all whipped and hydrogenated). It's a little runny, but the taste is actually pretty good.
I had no idea Jif was so popular--I hate it because it is so sweet, or at least it used to be.
Only PB for me and DH is Krema Chunky or Creamy, which we buy on line from the Krema Nut Company. Nothing but peanuts in there. Saw them on Food Network and have been ordering since.
I usually buy Jif Creamy, but if Peter Pan or Skippy are on sale I'll sometimes buy them instead - I don't really notice any difference. It has to be Creamy, though, I don't go for the Crunchy.
