The "Vampire Diaries" were actually written in the early 90s. You'd be surprised at how much it seems "Twilight" copied from her stories! The show is great, much better actors than Twilight. Next week they are replaying all of the episodes of Vampire Diaries already shown. I liked it better than Twilight. And again - the actors are of legal age LOL![]()
I had just seen "Twilight" for the first time 2 weeks ago and laughed my butt off at the acting. They all appeared to be in pain when acting. DH was shocked when I told him I wanted to see New Moon, but after I finished the series of books, I figured why not. The acting slightly better, except for Bella...no clue what that actress is saying half the time she mumbles so bad and she has two expressions: Looking up in angst or biting her lip in frustration. Annoying.
But to everyone else....Truly, my apologies for anyone who may have taken offense by my post which apparently got this thread to what it is

But please realize in my original post, I was saying I would rather have the "character" Jacob keep an eye on me rather than the "character" Edward (who is 17 in the books...well, maybe 105....but a teenager, none the less...) All in good fun, of course. I would hope my DH or German Shepard would handle any strange man in my room

The simple fact is, the character Jacob spends about 90% of the film with no shirt on (werewolves don't wear shirts, evidently) and the actor, Taylor, is in amazing shape. Only 17, but it amazing shape. And, yep, I sure did admit to noticing that "out loud", realizing I am old enough to be his mom and that that alone has an "ewww" factor. No innuendos intended, as may have been assumed. No cougar here....I wouldn't have thought it was "ewww" or close to creepy if I was

Okay, felt like I needed to wash the creepy cougar cooties off of me. I feel better now!
