Inspired by the HOA Thread.

Wow HOA's can differ a lot. Ours hasn't kicked in yet. We need at least 75% of the homes finished (not there yet and don't see it finished for a while). I know we got a 10 page book of HOA rules. I really wish they would have wrote them in plan English and not in lawyer talk. LOL Ours has the garabe can rule too. They have to be behind the fence but eveyone has there's on there driveway next to the garage door. I think it looks fine like that. We also can't make changes to the front of the homes but we can add on in the back.

I just did the math for our fee's and it's crazy. We suppose to have 300 homes in our subdivison. Multiply that by the 125.00 fee and that's alot of money(37500.00). We don't have the pools or parks for the kids. No comminuity house for parties. No walking trails either. Dang what is that money going to really pay for?

Ok now I'm going to go and dig out my book of rules and reread it again. I have question to ask our builders.
