I've often struggled with this one.
Why am I a "Disney Person", but my daughter, for instance, is not?
She SHOULD be if she's really mine.
I THINK I'm a "Disney Person" because I'm kind of a Disney history geek. I remember watching the old Wonderful World of Disney shows on Sunday night, back when it was actually an EVENT to watch it every week.
I grew up before home video, when seeing a Disney movie meant going out to the theater to see it on the big screen. Again, sort of an EVENT.
I visited WDW during it's first year. It entranced me. It was like some sort of magical world that you could only imagine in a dream. Now, sadly, with all the other theme parks, kids don't often see how special it truly is.
I have read every single book on Walt and the history of the company. I find it fascinating to the point of - well, I'm probably a nerd.
That's why I THINK I'm a "Disney Person".
