Here's the deal: DS just completed his last required merit badge, Personal Management, for Eagle Scout. One of the requirements was to interview someone in the career field that he is interested in. DS wants to be a Park Ranger, so he went and interviewed a Ranger at the local State Park.
Now, he needs to send a thank-you note to the Ranger, along with a photo I took of the two of them. My question (yes, I do have one through this long-winded narration!) is how should the salutation read: Dear Ranger _______ or Mr. _________? And how should he address the envelope - Ranger or Mr.?
Funny aside, the Ranger's first name is Rick, so I had a serious case of the inner giggles whenever I thought of Ranger Rick. (Remember the kids magazine?)

I love the Ranger Rick magazine, even now at my age.
