What are some more weird words that are spelled the same but sound different (what is that called?).
One of my ds's vocabulary words this week is live. I don't know if he's pronouncing it correctly or not. I don't know if his teacher expects him to say live (as in to live) or live (as in "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!").
No wonder my ds rolls his eyes at me when it's time to go over vocab words-I don't think he knows for sure if I can read the words the way they should be read.
