everyone who wished for something for someone else really made me think.

you're better people than I am. Were I given one wish I'd wish to be with my boyfriend just for one more day. I'm not wishing for peace, or for the world to be better. Or for everyone to be happy. I'm wishing for me to be happy.

I really wish I could say that if the wish fairy was sitting infront of me saying for me to wish for something I would think about wishing for someone else. But I wouldn't. I wouldn't have to think about my wish at all. I'd be lying if I said I wanted anything else.

So for everyone who would use their one chance at anything in the world on someone else, you're amazing. I wish I could do that.

I would have to agree. I would have thought about myself. What I said was for me...well I guess it's kinda for my friends...but mostly myself.
Although I do know a friend who would be exstatic if she found out I wished for the magic world to be real. XD

my wish was selfish.
at this age, most people are selfish.
i actually think it's biological, because if you think way back to caveman days, teenagers would leave their familes and venture on their own, and needed to be selfish in order to survive.
that's my guess anyway.
and to whoever was unselfish, you ought to be very proud.
but i have to ask, if you legitmately had one wish, would it truly be unselfish?
it's easy to say that it wouldn't be, but truly, deep down inside, would you choose to act unselfishly?

I made a selfish wish, and I'm not disappointed in myself. Sure, I could wish for world peace or something, but it's never going to happen. There's always going to be at least one corrupt person. Besides, how boring would life be if we loved each other ALL the time?

If you aren't happy, or you need help how do you expect to save the world? You need to love and care for youself before you are in any way prepared to fight someone else's battles.

You should be proud of yourself if you wished unselfishly. But that doesn't mean that I'm not proud of myself for wishing what I did.

It's because I'm an egoist (not an egotist!)
(an egoist is someone who thinks of themselves before others, an egotist is someone who is boastful & concieted)


I always think of myslef before others, it's just the way I am.
I may be a terrible person for it, but it's not changing.

I wished that Derek & I would always be together, because at this point in time, that is the only thing I truly want in life.

I admire all those altruists out there who can put others before themselves, but at this point in my life, that is not me.
And if I am given ONE wish, ONE sure thing, I'm going to be selfish.

You shouldn't be mad at yourself because you wished for something for you. There are many wishes that I have, and tons of them have to do with me. It's not just you.

A couple of months ago, I would've wished for something for me. But then a few events in life have showed me what a horrible state the world is in right now. I have always been able to put myself after other people or things. I always help people, even if it puts something that I really want to do off for a while. And I also have a belief that if I want something, I should work for it. Of course I love freebies, but things like love and friendship, those things need to be worked on. That's just my opinion though.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with wishing for something that only benefits you! That is perfectly fine, it's just how you are!
