Hey I first looked in 92 and I was going to buy it - and did - got talked out of it my relatives and friends.

however is 93 I looke my brother and his family - very, very expensive!!! I brought DVC when I returned home.

there were reasons not to buy in 92 - Disney was very, very unsure that DVC would ever be a success. the guides also make sure you understood that DVC might not always be called DVC - disney might not always been the management company. we didn't get the free tickets because it was a sure thing. We got the tickets because disney wasn't sure.

we brought OKW (DVC then) because we loved it. Staying onsite was a benefit and still is!!! a very nice one !!!!

C'mon, Tony - you know better than that! The vast majority of DVC owners bought into SSR - and we're just biding our time, waiting to overwhelm BCV, BWV and VWL like a swarm of locusts at the 7 month mark! Bwahahahaha.

I bought into DVC @ SSR in 2004! So I'm a newbie still. Headed home in just 11 days!

We just bought into SSR and are waiting for the papers to arrive. We're already booked in September for OKW though.

I would bet that the majority of LONG TERM owners don't frequent these boards with the regularity of newer owners? I would expect skewing of results toward the more recent dates due to that.. I for one can only come back every month or so just to see what's being talked about. Amazing how it's usually the same things

I first purchased in 95, but like another poster got cold feet and backed out. Bought for real 2 years later..... No regrets this time! . Of course the next question is... How long until you decided to Add On?
