After the thread about tenpins, candlepins and duckpins it was kind of ironic to read in yesterday's paper that the Rhode Island state duckpin scoring record had been broken. The old record of 258 had been done twice, but on 11-9 Ed Evans of Johnston, RI threw a 264. The world record is 279 by a gentleman from CT. Now do you see how hard duckpins can be?
In the aforementioned thread I mentioned that I thought the all-time high in candlepins is 244; it is actually 245. I cheated some poor guy out of a pin
Let's see Walter Ray Williams beat that!
