No way would they let us use toothpicks. They can become projectile objects during the shaking you know. Everyone knows its fun and games till someone gets their eye poked out. And with flying toothpicks, its bound to happen.

He was a great kisser. So good that if the brother was no where in the picture, I'd date him again just for that alone. Hopefully it does run in the family and I will let you know once I do find out.


Want to let you all know we had a bit of an issue over here today. Had to come home right away because the sweetpea fell off the slide at the park and hit her head. Took her to the ER and she has a concusion. She will be out for the rest of the tournament the doc said. The head coach is totally bummed, but he wants her to get well and still show up for the games.

It was kinda scary to see how she was when I got home. She had no clue what happened to her at the park. She couldn't remember that her grandfather brought her home from the park and that he cleaned up her elbow and head and put the ice pack on. She didn't remember falling or having lunch earlier. She didn't even know what day it was. So not like her. She is better now, still has some amnesia but more herself. She will be rechecked on friday and be cleared. But no more baseball for the rest of the week. And the season ends on saturday. She is heartbroken. But she understands.

It was a long afternoon. Shes resting and watching tv. Docs orders. Thank goodness for the DIS to get me a few giggles.

Just checking in! We got back Monday evening from a 9 day vacation to Yellowstone and Montana. It was really beautiful, but I gotta say that 9 days with my kids in a car and/or hotel room is really too much to ask of any sane person!

Did have the funniest thing happen though (well, I thought so, DH really did not find it so amusing):

We were playing a Q&A game with the kiddos, and they got to keep a quarter every time they stumped Mom or Dad. My six year old says "What is 100 minus 22?". His older sister jumps in, not wanting to lose a quarter, says "Don't ask Mom that! She is smarter than you!".
And my dear, lovely, smart little man says, "I know that. That is why I am asking Dad!"

I laughed hysterically for 30 miles - tears running down my cheeks and I could hardly breathe

And my dear, lovely, smart little man says, "I know that. That is why I am asking Dad!"

I got fired yesterday. Because they needed someone more "dependable" and I had missed too much work due to being in the hospital.

I was really upset yesterday. I cried and puked and cried and puked.

Today, I am just like,"Whatever." I know I can't work right now anyway. Sh*t, I can barely DIS because that requires me to sit up and sitting/standing for too long makes me puke, and I am not willing to do any jobs that require me to lie down, so blah.
