And come to think of it, I have killed way more animals than my dh... with my car, but still. He doesn't hunt or fish or do any of those "man" things.

Good think Im west coast and you are somewhere in the middle....cuz im a bit scared of your driving skills if you have taken down many animals.

Most men would probably be just as happy to revert back to cave man days. Hunt, eat, mate, sleep.....what more could they possibly want?

OMG! I kept putting this off with DH. Not because of DH, because of crazy family. Kept telling him, "they aren't like your family." He didn't get it...then.

But he kept thinking it was him, so I took him.

OK, I should explain. First off, I live kinda out in the boonies- and most of what I have killed/hit has been possums. Maybe a racoon. I used to drive late at night coming home from work and there were critters all over the roads- and generally I don't swerve for possums- a friend in high school did this and flipped her car and died. I mean, I don't go out of my way to hit animals, by any means, but I'm not taking any chances with my life if they run out into the road. And I've only hit like, maybe 4 or 5 animals in my life. Still more than my dh has killed.

But don't worry, I won't be in SC anytime soon!

DH met my mom on our first date, she answered the door when he came to pick me up. My dad was out of town, and he was scared of meeting him and i was like, no he's the laid back one, my mom is the one you gotta worry about!

Oy. Me too. My family is NUTS. I love, love, love my in-laws!!! I always tell dh that they are God's apology to me for having to put up with my family!

I love my family too, but they are so much drama.

You're lucky you got good in-laws. Mine are CRAZY. And they HATE me. My family is crazy too, but at least they like me most of the time.

My parents were surprised that I let them met my last boyfriend. I generally dont let anyone met my family. Not that my family is bad or crazy.....they are just different. But also, its easier to break up with someone when they aren't that involved with your life. So, my parents were surprised that they met him on our second date. And they were even more surprised that I kept him as long as I did.

See, my dh got the CRAZY in-laws!! I love my mom, but boy oh boy is she a piece of work!!

My in-laws love me. My MIL is teaching me how to sew, ans she takes me grocery shopping- they spoil us rotten, which is a bit ridiculous. But nice and totally appreciated!

His whole family hands out money. Every time you show up to a family event or holiday, you get cash. It's hysterical. Never seen anything like it. His parents giveus money all the time- which people think is weird, but his grandparents still give his parents money... Just how they are.
