OK- #1) there is no shame in not having a date. With most dates, you'd probably be better off on your own anyway. And who gives a &%$* what the hotel people think? Let them think you're too hot to be tied down.

And what happened to ex-BF? Can't go?

2) Dirty Minds is a word-guessing game, and it gives you very dirty sounding clues, but the word you guess usually isn't dirty at all. Very fun.

What's "Up the River, Down the River"?

I haven't asked ex-bf yet. I think we would have fun if he went, but I dont know if I want to take him. Sorta hoping to take someone new. And I know there is no shame in not having a date. But I know that there will be very few single people at this wedding and I want to make sure I have someone to dance with. And I know I shouldnt care what the reservation people think, but I do, can't help it.

Up the River Down the River is a drinking game. You use a deck of cards to play and each card has a meaning of sorts. One makes you take a shot, another you get to pick someone to take a shot, drink on your left, drink on your right, and so forth. Plus, there is a social card where everyone at the table takes a shot. Learned this one when I used to hang out with my brother and his Marine buddies.

Seriously though. I want to make sure my date can dance, looks good when dressed up (some guys dressed up look like they are wearing their father's clothes), and dont have some strange way of behaving.

And I dont have a rolodex anymore. I just keep them all in my cell. Its easier that way.

I'm still hoping that we'll manage to get pregnant this month. If not, it won't be for lack of trying!
