Did you ever NOT watch a show, and yet get caught up in the hype of the season/series finale?

I have seen exactly one episode of Lost (I have no idea which one...Charlie from Party of Five was going to chop off some dude's leg with a piece of an airplane?) but I admit, I am curious as to what happened in the finale.

This isn't the first time I've been curious about shows I never watch. I am just weird. :confused3

I want to know what happened with Lost, too. Even though I couldn't get into it during the season, I'd love to know the big revelations.

I have to admitt that I hardly ever start to watch a show from the beginning. Will and Grace is a good example. I didnt start to watch it untill last year, when a friend kept telling me how funny it was. Lost I just started to watch this season and only because Sawyer is Yumm-o!

Yeah, the first season of Survivor. I think that's it. Never watched the show other than that one episode lol.

I never watched Friends, but one of my friends loved it, so I ended up seeing the last few episodes of the series and the series finale.

And the first season of American Idol I watched the very last episode just to see what people were talking about. Now I watch it all the time. :teeth:

This is exactly what I do. That's another reason I like the DIS--I don't have to watch the shows, I can just read the threads here! And I love spoiler threads too, for the same reason. :rotfl:

You should do like I do, Mal. I wait until the episodes come out on dvd--then I watch them all one after another. :teeth: I'm always a year behind but I don't have to wait for the shows to come out. I did this with Lost, Desperate Housewives, and Veronica Mars. :teeth:

I did get caught up in the finale for American Idol, though. It's all anyone at work is talking about. I've never seen one episode of the darn show (nor do I want to) but I can't seem to avoid it. :teeth:

This sort of happened with Magnum, PI for me. People would tell me what a great show it was and that I should watch it. I finally saw the last episode of the next to last season, and was so intrigued by all the story lines that I had to go back and watch reruns of the 7 seasons leading up to that point. ;)

Magnum, PI has become my favorite all-time show since that point.

If you ever watch NCIS, it has very similar stories, and similar chemistry between the characters.

AI during the Clay/Ruben finals. I became a Clay fan and AI junkie

Anyone who doesn't watch Lost, you are missing out!
I am not a big TV fan, but Lost is well above and beyond usual programming.

I havent ever seen Lost and I dont think I've done that with a show either, you know come in at the end of it. But I'm gonna think about it, cause I might have and just cant remember it right now. I think I remember better while eating ice cream. Yes thats it, ice cream helps my memory.
