I know there have been quite a few car threads out there lately, but I'm hoping you can help with one more. Dh and I are going to start looking for a Minivan. Right now, I have a Hyundai Santa Fe that I just love, but with a baby on the way, we'll soon have 2 kids, plus 2 large dogs that we take everywhere with us, so we'd like to upgrade to a bigger family friendly car. Right now, our top choice (we think!) is the Nissan Quest, followed by the Toyota Sienna, the Honda Odessey, and the Chrysler T&C. The Quest so far seems to be up our alley, but I wanted to hear from anyone else that owns one, to get an owners point of view. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!! :goodvibes

My Sister has a 97 and has had absolutly no problems with it. She doesn't drive very far though.

We have a 2006 Nissan Quest and we love it. It doesnt have that typical mini van look to it and it passed the "cool" test when two teenagers walking by said our car was "Phat".

It is roomy, drives great, and has a ton of cool features. We love the DVD player and the dual heat controls. We also love that the kids can put the headphones on and listen to a movie while dh and I can still listen to the radio. Best investment we have made in a long time. We travelled quite a bit in it so far too.

I love my nissan quest. I've had it for a year now and it is the best! It is a 2005 SL with leather seats, dvd, xm radio heated seats and one power door. I didn't want to drive a minivan, but I'm glad I choose this one!

I also had a Sante Fe and upgraded to the Quest after my second child. I like it ok, but I cannot get over the fact that I am driving a minivan, that I own a minivan. I think I am too young to be driving one of them around!

It's nice and roomy and I can fit everyone inside, even my neice's and nephews. I would recommend one to anyone who was thinking of getting a minivan. Just get the extended warranty, that has been a lifesaver for me.

I miss my Corolla S though. :teeth:

My mother owns a 96 Quest. It is a great minivan. I've actually had to drive it when my car was in the shop and it drives like a car. It doesn't have any huge blindspots (unlike our Silhouette). The Quest has been driven from NY to FL about 4 times and has never had any problems. The only service it has required is alignments and brakes. Other than that there have been no major repairs and it runs great. If you want a minivan for the size but don't want to feel like you are driving a Mac truck, I think the Quest is really a great deal.

We have an '05 Quest and I love, love, love it! We even have the most basic version, and I like all the bells and whistles. Great storage, lots of room (6 large sized adults) with no problems. I highly recommend it!
