Fashion wise, I mean? There are two high on my list.

One are low cut jeans...when wore too low in the wrong size, and with the wrong top. What I am getting at is the way some girls wear them really low, with a teeny top...and then you see these love handles oozing out the back! Yuck. Love handles should not be exposed.

Second is the monogram. On anything, but especially on sweaters, as has become the rage lately. Do we really need to look like Lavern? Terrible fad.

Which bother you?

It would be easier for me to list the ones I DON'T hate! LOL!

I agree that the low cut jeans are ridiculous. I think they make slender girls look FAT... not to mention showing way too much skin.

And my other pick is the piercing from head to toe.

jeans that hang off guys rumps showing crack or even underwear AND pants dragging on the floor

I can't stand seeing pples underwear!! I can't stand it when they wear the low riders with a thong and the thong is justa hangin out there for all to see. What's up with that anyway? And bra straps! since when did it become "fashionable" to show them? Don't get me started with the whole black bra under the light shirt thing. I just don't get it

What I don't like is how difficult it is to find clothes for little girls that don't make them look like miniature teenagers.

I've noticed that a couple of the guys my sister hangs out with have pants so long they drag along the ground and under their shoes and get so disgustingly dirty I can't stand to let them on my carpet.

I also wish there were more modest prom/evening gowns available.

I completely agree!! That is what bothers me the most too.

Words on the a$$ - I HATE that. My grandmother bought my 18 month old daughter an outfit that said Star across the butt. I gave it to my sister for her daughter b/c she likes those trendy things.

Low cut pants where the pelvis bone is sticking out and the thong is showing.

There is no such thing as modesty anymore. I hope all these trends are long gone before my daughter gets old enough to want to wear them though by that time there will be something else for me to hate, lol.

Bra straps showing with spaghetti strap style shirts!! Ugh! My mom had me in a strapless bra with the first one I bought-I was NEVER allowed to wear one with a normal bra. Not even around my own home, let alone outside in public!

I didn't realize how out of control the skimpy clothing was until last March. I was with my boyfriend on a crowded Saturday night at DTD and we saw so many young teenagers dressed in super short shorts, skirts, tiny shirts, sexual themed words on tiny little shirts, thongs hanging out...I was mortified! I'm 21, and my parents definitely would not have let me leave my home in those clothes when I was the age of these kids (I'm guessing 13-16 or so) and at this point in my life I have enough self-respect that I still wouldn't wear these things! Where are these kids parents?

WHEEEEEWWW! Here comes the fashion police!

Some guys are finding it fashionable to not cut their hair and they look like a bunch of girls and shaggy dogs. Then they put baseball caps on and their bushy hair is coming out on all angles like Bozo. GET SOME CLIPPERS! Do you think you're going to get a job looking like that? The worst is, its guys in my age group (20-somethings). Thank heavens I have a boyfriend....with a haircut.

The monogram thing, I'm with you Aurora63. Where's Shirley?

I agree with the dislike of the low-cut jeans and the shorts with the words on the butt. How disgusting. Makes me glad I'm having a boy and not a girl!

I'm probably going to get massively flamed for this but the one trend I really, really REALLY do not like, can not stand, wish would go away entirely is:

Anthing from Abercrombie and Fitch! I really am starting to hate their clothes and am wondering when they will become less trendy.

*ducks and runs like heck for the hills before she gets flamed out of existence*

No flames here! I have two boys - one teen and one pre teen. Thank goodness they couldn't care less about the "fad" clothing. I have honestly only set foot in an A&F once... to buy my nephew a gift certificate. I got out of there fast!!!!

Thank goodness I"m not the only one who hates A&F. Have you SEEN their catalogs? A teenager left one at our counter one day before Christmas and I flipped through it, curious. It's almost pornographic!

I'd like to get my hands on the guy who invented low rise jeans.

Is it even possible to find a pair of jeans that aren't low rise now?

The Von Dutch trucker hats. They are so ugly!

yikes, I like several of the trends that everyone else hates.:o

I only wear low rise pants...I can't stand wearing anything that sits above my belly button. And it's strange that someone said that they make skinny girls look fat, because low rise pants definitely look better on me. I will admit, though, that when I was in middle school and low rise pants first started to become popular, I thought they would be horrible and I didn't want to wear them, but now I can't imagine NOT wearing them...they're so much more comfortable than high waisted pants. I don't think anyone who has tried them doesn't like them.

Anyway...I also like the monogram trend. I do think it's tacky when every article of someone's clothing has their initial on it, but I'm desparately looking for a cute purse with a B on it.

As for what I don't like...

I can't stand trucker hats. ugh.

I don't have any desire to see someone's thong...it's fine if you want to wear one, but please keep it a little more private!

And I don't like hair gel...lol, I much prefer to see a guy's hair looking natural.:p

bra straps hanging out

exposed bellies

exposed undies

huge pants that drag the floor

ITA! I like Express even though I am 33. I have bought many dresses and tops there that I love. Yesterday I went in search of a pair of jeans. They did not have a single pair that was less than 3.5 inches below the waist! One inch I can do - 3.5 inches no way!

And come to think of it, it's not limited to regular jeans either. When I first when shopping for maternity jeans (waaaay back when I was about 4 mos preg), I ended having to go to a maternity resale shop to find some decent jeans. All the maternity stores I went to in the mall (and in the maternity depts of the dept stores) had jeans that were LOW CUT jeans. And these were supposed to be MATERNITY pants for crying out loud. I am pregnant..I do NOT want my belly hanging out of my pants thank you.

And what IS it with maternity designers and not putting pockets on pants? Only one pair of my maternity pants (a pair of khaki colored painters pants that I lurve lurve lurve) have pockets. What gives?

I hate trucker hats! I also dont like all the monogrammed stuff, nor the writing on the butt.

I do like low rise jeans, If you buy the right size they look great!

I admit I've worn a black bra with a white tank. It was cute and I was at a rock concert so oh well.

I don't however want to see anyones thong or butt crack LOL

I don't want pants over my belly button either but the low rise ones are just too much.

I also can't ever find jeans or pants that are long enough. I have about 2 pair of pants. I see all of these cute outfits online or in catalogs and most of them are 30 inch inseams. Yah, that will work for me, NOT!
