Awesome- thanks so much for the info!!Just got done testing, no issue with 14 month old. Results should come back in a couple of hours.
I think the rate that Disney has contracted with them is $98 and some change but I could be wrong. How much does this cost? Just wondering if it’s cost effective to test the day before at MCO since I’m flying in the day before.
Are you thinking of the mail in option or the in person testing at the Sheraton MCO or Raddison at Port Canaveral? I believe they have quicker turnaround times (which the people above have confirmed).I thought I saw something about allowing 24-48 hours to get your results back, which would be pointless for pre-cruise testing (as opposed to testing at the port), since there would be a chance you wouldn't get your results in time and not be able to board.
That’s awesome, thanks for the update. We are going to be in Florida for the 4 days before our cruise so I am trying to see if it’s worth a couple hour detour to have my 2 year old test in Orlando. Having a hard time finding dependable options that will get results quickly in the St Pete area that will also test on a 2 year oldWe got our results back an hour later. So even quicker at MCO
True, but there's no guarantee to get the results unless you test 48 hours before. Doesn't DCL require the test to be within 24 hours? It's confusing as to why they'd offer a test that could take longer than what would be useful for your trip. The DCL info states 24-48 hours. Maybe that's a worst case scenario and it's usually sooner...?
Inspire Diagnostics Testing Options Near the Cruise Terminal
Guests also may use the Safe Passage website to purchase and schedule a pre-trip test to be performed at one of the Inspire Diagnostics testing sites set up for Disney Cruise Line Guests near the cruise terminal, performed one to 3 days before their sail date. The cost is US $98.33 per test (which includes a 3.5% processing fee). Results take 24 to 48 hours to process and will be sent to the email address provided during the registration on the Safe Passage website.
No, this is pre-trip testing for unvaccinated guests (now just young children) which must be done 24 hours up to 3 days prior. All passengers are tested by DCL (Inspire Diagnostics) at embarkation, which is a 2nd test for the little ones.True, but there's no guarantee to get the results unless you test 48 hours before.
