A few weeks back I came across this website: www.sugarfreesheila.com
Essentially, the owner is a low-carber (specifically Atkins), but I think that everyone - no matter how they eat - can be inspired by this girl.
Yes, she's young (although older than me - late twenties, I think), but her commitment is what inspires me. And, I know that if I just passed her in the street I would just assume that she was one of those 'eat all you want and don't gain an ounce' people, but I'd be wrong.
Makes you wonder how many of those slim people out there are actually working for it. I know that I've been guilty of writing it off to them just being luckier that way than me, but SFS really got me thinking
I quite liked her website as well because we're the same height and I'm a size bigger than she was at her largest (although I weigh a lot more - different body composition I guess) and her current size (and weight, although I consider size and BF% more important due to differing weight compositions... when I was at her heaviest weight I was a US size 6, whereas she was a US size 10) is the same as my goal. Gives me an idea of what to expect.
Oh, and I found this book interesting too: www.losethelieslosetheweight.com
Of course, I can read and be inspired all I want - nothing's going to change until I actually do something
I'm a pretty bad procrastinator...
Anyway, just thought someone here might be interested in the above.
