Briarmom responded to a thread about drinking alcohol and offered this sage advice: Liquor then beer, in the clear, Beer then Liquor, never sicker.
I always heard : Beer on whiskey, mighty risky, whiskey on beer, never fear.

Clearly, these two rhymes are contradictory. Which one works for you?

In my own experience, as long as wine isn't part of the equation, I don't have any problems. :teeth:

I've never been good at word problems. :confused3 But they don't seem to contradict each other.

whiskey on beer, never fear = liquor then beer, in the clear

Beer on whiskey, mighty risky = Beer then Liquor, never sicker

:surfweb:

I always say, Liquor before beer have no fear, beer before liquor never sicker...so far this advice has worked for me :cool1:

I've always heard - Beer before liquor, never been sicker. Liquor then beer, have no fear.

:lmao: :lmao: I am flattered to have inspired such a thread. :teeth:

My poem has always worked for me.

Beer then liquour never sicker
Liquor then beer in the clear

:thumbsup2 Please drink responsibly. :teeth:

I'm not good with remembering rhymes, especially when I'm drinking so I just mix everything I find into one big cup.

I haven't got time to remember poems when I'm drinking...except one...Liquor is quicker :teeth:

I've always heard, "Liquor, beer, never fear. Beer, liquor, never sicker." :drinking1
