Hi, i read online they were coming to Epcot in February, so can anyone confirm if they are there? We will be there in 3 weeks and DD 4 wants to meet them!

I found a video from yesterday, yay it's true, they are there!

Will there be FP+????????????

They started yesterday. Kenny the Pirate has posted lots of pictures.

We were at the character spot last October, and it was goofy, minnie, and mickey.. so has one of them been replaced with inside out? or is it another location that i don't know of? thanks!

Character Spot does have fastpasses, but they are only for the original area where Mickey, Minnie and Goofy still meet. They don't apply to Joy and Sadness or Baymax, who are in different areas (but still in the vicinity of the Character Spot).

is there any chance of the new Frozen attraction being open the last week of April? It would be great if we could see a soft opening. will anna and elsa do a meet n greet in Norway?

The chances are slim to none that there will be any public access to the Frozen ride in April.

Anna and Elsa won't move from MK to Norway until their new building is ready for them to do so, again not likely in April. Fastpasses are still being issued for them in MK, and are available there as of May 22.

Seems like you would want FP+ for a popular character meet and greet like this one. Mickey Minnie and Goofy usually don't need a FP but yet it is still available. A little backwards. This would be a good tier 2 FP that would actually be worth getting.

The Inside Out location is located on the opposite side of the breezeway from where Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy still meet.

Sadness and Joy have their own line and meet near Baymax who has his own separate line.

We are going in October and I know my DS is going to want to meet Baymax and DD Joy and Sadness. So how long do the lines get and when would be the best time of day to visit them both? We can't do RD as we'll be heading for TT or Soarin at those times.

Yesterday, another DISer reported a 90 minute wait for J&S.

In February, we had less than a 10 minute wait for Baymax in the evening around 7:00p.

The lines may be much shorter by October for J&S. Because more people are aware of J&S, it could now affect Baymax' line and wait because not too many guests knew he is now in Epcot.

No across the breezeway with Baymax.

Thanks. Now I'm no fan of FP+ being on everything but I would rather use a FP+ for this than the Nemo or Imagination ride which we have waited less than 15 minutes for every trip.:sad2:

We were at WDW last week and there were FP posts at the entrance to the side of the Character Spot where Baymax was appearing. They weren't operating, but FPs might be coming to that side before too long. It could be like the Princess Meet and Greet at MK where Anna/Elsa and Cinderella/Rapunzel have separate FPs. Each side of the Character Spot could have its own FPs.

It was over a 30 minute wait to see Mickey, Goofy and Minnie when we were at Epcot at opening on Feb 29. And, Epcot was a 1 on the crowd calendars that day - I guess everyone wants to see Mickey, Goofy and Minnie. I noticed that the wait even got longer as the day went on, so if you or your kids want to see them, I would definately use a FP for it.

Baymax was about a 5 minute wait.

I would think FP would be necessary for the Inside Out characters given their popularity

Our plan (late May) is to Frozen (not sure ride or attraction) at rope drop then head to Test Track then Joy/Sadness. Since it is a surprise trip for our little one, we may end up skipping Norway altogether on this trip and heading straight to Test Track, then Joy/Sadness. From an efficiency standpoint i think that might be our best bet but I want to keep the option open for all things Frozen.
