Making the assumption that your flight will arrive on time, by the time you get your luggage and a rental car and arrive at WDW it will be after 9:00. This will make it very difficult.
What I would suggest is see about a discounted room at the Hyatt Regency in the airport (which should easily be available for December 25). We used to get after work flights to Orlando. After arrival, my wife would take the carry-on luggage to the hotel (which is actually inside the terminal) while I would get the checked luggage, stop by the front desk for my key, and take it to the room.
Depending on how we felt and the time, we would eat at either Hemishpere's on the next-to-top floor (fancy) or McCoy's on the lobby level (their chicken nodle soup is wonderful) or room service is very late. The next morning we would have breakfast, get the rental car and check out. We would already be dressed for the parks so if our room was not available we would just check our luggage and head for the parks. The big thing about this was we were not rushed and had no problems if there were flight delays.
