We're going to Disney World for the first time in June. Trying to decide where to make reservations. Here is kind of what I am thinking. Let me know your opinions. We have 2 girls, ages 8 and 5.

CRT: Breakfast
Boma: Dinner
Ohana: Dinner
Cinderella's Dinner 1900 Park Fare or Princess Dining at Akershush: Which one of these and what is better, breakfast, lunch or dinner?
Le Cellier: Dinner
Tutto Italia

Looks good and you'll get lots of different opinions but here's mine. Are you staying at AKL? Reason I ask, it's JMHO, and Boma gets great reviews here on the DIS, but I thought it was just okay & unless I was staying at AKL, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there especially if it was my first WDW visit. I've never done Akershush, but I think 1900 Park Fare is one of the better buffets at WDW & the stepsisters are hysterical!

Are you not doing DHS or AK? If you do go to DHS, the Primetime Cafe is a really fun place to eat & one of our favorites. Also Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary is almost always a "must do" especially for first timers, although we haven't eaten there in years because our kids are older, but it's a really fun character buffet.

CRT, LeCellier & 'Ohana are good places to try & if you really like Italian & plan on going to Epcot anyway, then Tutto Italia is another good choice! :thumbsup2

Personally I would cut out CRT and do Akershaus and 1900 PF dinner.
We have done both CRT B & L (prefered B), but enjoyed the food and princess interaction at PSB much more (and Ariel was there).

1900 PF (D) is a don't miss! The interaction between the stepmother and sisters is just priceless and so worth it...and the food isn't bad either.

Thanks for the info. Would you recommend Dinner for 1900 Park Fare? I'm wondering if I should do Chef Mickey's or Akershush?

I thought CRT would be fun since it is our first time. Were you not impressed? Did you have breakfast or dinner at PSB? It seems to have great reviews. I'm wondering how many character meals we really need. I'm sure the girls will have fun with it though!

If you can get it your girls will LOVE CRT. To be honest, the food STINKS! But you go to see the amazement and awe in your DD's eyes when they realize that they are dining in Cinderella's Castle as guests of Cinderella herself! I would highly reccommend it - once.

PLEASE do CRT for breakfast - its such an awesome experience for your first time!!
'
its about the ambiance - and getting in the MK first thing - seeing the castle , eating there - its so magical!!

agree about boma and everyone needs to decide for themselves about ohana dinner = now. since you askeed

Askerhaus for BREAKFAST - simple breakfast fare- but the earliest adr is 8:30 so dont expect to get a heads up at epcot - like you do at MK and CRT - - but truly we go for the Princesses just as much for hte food!!

and 1900 - when I asked dd- she picks Askerhaus for Princess Aurora, and I pick 1900 for the food!!! I know - its a buffet - but I like that strawberry soup, I like all the food on the buffet ( shrimp - prime rib)

so its about what you want - what works for YOUR family

just know its your first time, you can NOT do it all = and what you dont know, you cant miss!!

CRT is a "once in a lifetime" opportunity and I am sure your girls will love the experience. We preferred a later breakfast rather than lunch (didn't care as much for the lunch menu).

We had lunch at PSB. DH had the lamb stew and I hate BBQ (both were very good).

We did DeluxDDP and booked mostly all character meals. Reason 1, it was Christmas/NY week and we figured the kids would need a break so a long lunch was fine. Reason 2, seeing characters at the meals save us from waiting in lines in the parks. Reason 3, the characters kept the kids occupied during a longer lunch. (DD2 & DS5)

I highly recommend CRT breakfast and Akershus breakfast for the princess interaction! Great choices for the ages of your girls!

I haven't done 1900 Park Fare for dinner - but it sounds like a lot of fun. I've only done Akershus for breakfast, so I can't comment on the food for dinner there - but the princesses are at all 3 meals there and it's a wonderful place to meet princesses.

If you are trying to choose between 1900 and Akershus - I think that would depend on who your DD's want to meet. If they love Cinderella, I would go with 1900. You'll see the whole cast of Cinderella (Prince Charming, step sisters, etc. ) and they are quite funny. If your DD's like other princesses, go with Akershus. (They'll meet Cinderella and 4 other princesses at CRT breakfast too)

We have enjoyed Ohana and Tutto Italia for dinner - have been to both places 2 times.

Thanks! You really helped me make my decisions. I think we'll definitely keep CRT. I know the girls will love that! Also, I think we'll try Akershus instead of 1900 Park Faire. The girls really want to see Ariel and Snow White. Maybe we'll have a chance of seeing them there. I'm so excited for them!

CRT: Breakfast breakfast is breakfast...go for it
Boma: Dinner outstanding..not to be missed
Ohana: Dinner not the best meal at disney
Cinderella's Dinner 1900 Park Fare or Princess Dining at Akershush: Which one of these and what is better, breakfast, lunch or dinner? Akeershush is wonderful..the food is fantastic
Le Cellier: Dinner between Le Cellier and Tutto...go to tutto
Tutto Italia

Keep in mind that princesses are not guaranteed. USUALLY Ariel is there for lunch and dinner (so I've read). Also, I believe Snow White is not typically at Akershaus, as she is in germany (?) with Dopey...but she was at CRT.
You will have a blast no matter where you go...You'll be at Disney!!!
