My sweet, sweet DH has told me 'stop mentioning Disney. I won't be excited by the time it gets here', (and we've got quite awhile to go  )so I need opinions, please!

Traveling with 2 dd's (will be 5 & 2) and dh, staying at GF
Probably driving (from CT, will stay over one night in North or South Carolina)

Sunday: arrive  , Pool, Relax
Monday: MK B at Chef Mickey, would like to do parade, D Crystal Palace
Tuesday: MGM B/L Play & Dine
Wednesday: Pool Day Pirate Cruise for dd5. D 1900 Park Fare
Thursday: Sea World B 1900 Park Fare
Friday: Pool Day Princess Tea Party for DD5
Saturday: Leave :sad2: B O'Hana

Is this too much? I feel like I'm cramming everything in, but I'm just soooo excited :Pinkbounc !!! I want my girls to have a great time, but I don't want to push. Monday doesn't look do-able. Should I cancel out Crystal Palace? Would you do a dinner Sunday night, or just hang out? We won't be going back for quite awhile, that's why I'm trying to do so much.

Thanks in advance for your opinions! A very excited Shannon :goodvibes

I would skip 1 or 2 of the character lunches/teas and head to a park! You don't have Epcot listed, nor AK. I think your children would love Epcot. Or spend a second day at MK.

We're going in a few months w/our 2 DDs, also aged 5 and 2 (2.5 actually) AND also staying at the GF. We went same time last year (ages 4 and 1.5) so I used my original itinerary and what we actually did to make mine. I'll post it here, maybe it can help.

Sat - arrive, dinner at Ohana then go to MK and a few rides (specifically Haunted Mansion for DD5)
Sun - AK at opening, lunch there, back to resort to rest/maybe swim. 5pm dinner at Tonys at MK at night. Spectro & Wishes, then one ride, then back to hotel, most likely by 9:30
Mon - Downtown Disney, shop and have lunch. back to resort to rest/maybe swim. Then on to EP. Biergarten for dinner, rides, and *hopefully* Illuminations.
Tues - Chef Mickey's then MK. Lunch at MK then back to resort to rest/maybe swim. Dinner at Sci Fi at MGM, Osbourne lights and Fantasmic. maybe MVMCP if the girls aren't worn out
Wed - Akershus princess breakfast at EP. EP rides and lunch somewhere here. back to resort to rest/maybe swim. Crystal Palace dinner, back to MK. Electric Water Pageant at night
Thurs - MK. lunch here. back to resort to rest/maybe swim. Dinner at Kona Cafe then back to MK

Some things....my girls need to rest in the afternoon. Little one still really needs her nap. Even the 5 yo, last year napped in the afternoon, and she stopped taking naps at age 2. We're prepared to skip dinners. After the nap, last year, little one did NOT want to sit thru dinner. So, we planned the ones we really want early on in our trip. We made it til about 9 comfortably, 9:30 was pushing it, one night out til 10 was not good. They were way too tired. Normal bedtime is 8pm.

I don't think you have too much, just be prepared to skip things and adjust. I also think it is helpful to rest in the afternoon if you can. Let me know if you have any questions!

One more thing...which parks are you going to? Are you planning on doing all of them, or do you have any preferences? We plan hardly any time for MGM this year, because last year, my DDs didnt want to sit thru too many shows, which was pretty much what they did at MGM.
