I have 12 days until I can make my ADRs for our June trip. It will be my DH, my DS11, DS(turning 9 on our first day!) and my DD6.
Here is what we have so far:

Whispering Canyon (my DS9's pick for his b-day)

O'Hana's (my DS11 picked this)

Chef Mickey's (not sure what meal to do yet)

Akershus breakfast (my DD's pick)

50's Primetime for dinner

Crystal Palace (thinking of breakfast so we can get into MK early, but not 100% yet)

We were thinking Tony's but now after looking at all the Italian restaurants we are leaning toward Tutto Italia Any advice on the Italian restaurants??

Maybe 1900 Park Fare for dinner

My DH and boys want to go to ESPN Club on one of our breakfast days- my DD may or may not join them and this we are going to pay OOP.

We are on the DDP and we have pretty much have all the traditional fun places for kids, so I just need one more restaurant. We did Le Cellier last time and it wasn't as good as usual so we left it off this time.

Any input appreciated, thanks!

The atmosphere at Tony's can be nice, but the food is unbelievably horrible and grossly overpriced. If you're looking for location, desperately want to stay in the magic kingdom, and are not a picky eater, eat at Tony's. If you want decent italian and are flexible on location, choose TI. Put another way, I would not eat at Tony's if I was paid to do so, but I would pay to eat at TI.

LOL! I have heard that! I have been looking at the food picture thread and the TI food looks great!

I agree Tutto Italia is the way to go for italian. We ate there and were extremely pleased.:yay:

I agree, Tutto Italia was unbelievable. We were there in January and they did a great job. I am italian and there are not to many italian restaurants I like to go to, but I was pleasantly surprised.

There you have it ... if Tony won't even eat at his namesake establishment, neither should you. ;)

The last time we did 1900 Park Fare for dinner it was *not* good. Although my daughters did enjoy interacting w/Perla and Suzy.

CP was good for breakfast (well, it's kind of hard to mess up breakfast!) and it was awesome to get into the park early.

We really like Kona if you're looking for something in the MK area.

The two I absolutely :lovestruc were House of Blues and Wolfgang Puck Express. They were both incredible and both were very reasonable in price. WPE is on the DDP. HOB is not I don't believe. I think personally HOB is a bit better. The servers are fantastic and the pizza was superior to WPE.

I forgot about these places. We had talked about WPE before- that is a possibility!

Mmmm....Kona has always sounded good to me- that is also a possibility! And yeah, breakfast is kind of hard to mess up and I love the idea of being early in MK!

I definitely agree with Tutto Italia over Tony's. Tony's has never been good for us. Tutto was fantastic last year.

I second the vote for Kona ... delicious meals both times we ate there!

Totally do Olivia's But! Cape May's for Breakfast is GREAT for a buffet. (and you have characters as well...)

If you're still looking for other suggestions, we really enjoy Coral Reef for the atmosphere and we also like the food (especially the strip steak). Another one we like is Teppan Edo in Japan for both the entertainment and the food (especially the filet mignon). Seems like all our favorites are in Epcot!

I agree Kona is a nice option for breakfast (banana stuffed french toast...).

DS 10 and Dd 2/5 loved Teppan Edo. It was a great time, good food and everyone loved it. We also loved Tutto Italia (we have italian background).
we liked those 2 better than yachtsman and flying fish.

My family like Les Chefs de France, even my toddlers...it isn't too exotic for picky eaters... you can find a good variety there and we thought the food was very good as well as the service. My hubby and I both thought their steak was better than LeCellier...

Wolfgang Puck Express is counter service, and Wolfgang Puck Cafe is full service. Thought that should be clarified.

My recommendation is a place that's pretty unassuming, very little theming, but it has (in my opinion), fairly good food. That would be Kona Cafe. I did try the sushi bar a couple months ago and was able to order the crab cake appetizer from the Kona menu. It was better than I expected. I'd definitely order that again. (Of course that doesn't help you on the DDP if you're not using the deluxe plan!)

My advice is to check out the menus either here on wdwinfo.com or allears.net and find something you might find appealing.

Wow! Thanks for all the suggestions! I think we are going to go with Tutto Italia for our Italian meal and I am seriously considering Kona for our additional meal- I have heard many great things about that place!!
