Innovative way to save on flights and Disney gift cards

Hey everyone -- For anyone who has a Chase Freedom or Discover IT card next quarter they are both offering 5% cash back on purchases made at Lowe's Home Improvement stores. I scoped the gift card section out and they had both Southwest (loadable up to $500, per the Southwest website they can accept 3 different forms of payment per ressie -- ex -- 2 GCs and 1 CC) and Disney gift cards (only saw the $50 denom). Each of the cards have a quarterly cap of $1500. Hope this helps someone!

I think the suggestion is to use the credit card at Lowes to buy giftcards, because you only get the 5% cash back at Lowes?

I always get all the disney cards I can when they have this deal. It's a great deal.

The suggestion is to buy the giftcards at Lowe's using the CCs mentioned to get cash back.

Yes that is right. If you buy a $500 SWA card at Lowes using the Chase Freedom card you will get $25 back in Freedom rewards dollars on your Chase card to us as you would like.

Oh, now I understand--so you can get the 5% cash back from any purchase at Lowe's, including gift cards?
