I have already booked a character measl at inventions on the 22nd December.

I have heard VERY good reports obout Walts and dont know which one to do now.

Could I please have your comments if you have eaten at either. Please note I have also booked CM and The LN so having the character interaction is not too important. Its the overall experience, the surroundings and food that's the issue.

Thanks in anticipation of your opinions.

I have never eaten at innventions however I love walts and it is my favourite resturant at the resort. when we ate there last year it was fantastic looking out of the window when the snow is falling on mainstreet. you could even try to time it to see the parade go past.

I have only had breakfast at Walt's which was lovely, but not the same experience as I'm sure an evening meal would be there. The restaurant is really lovely, and the reports about the food are always excellent.

We had a meal last year at Inventions and it was probably the best meal I have ever had in terms of beautiful surroundings, lovely buffet food, fantastic prawns, beautiful desserts, attentive staff........ I could go on and on! The characters were almost an irrelevance! I don't think you'll go wrong at either, although I remember Inventions was fairly expensive, don't know the costs at Walts - is that a deciding factor? I don't think I've really helped you make a decision!

We loved Invventions and met really unusual characters like Mary Poppins and Bert. The food was nice and good for us as DD (under 3 at the time) didn't have to pay and could pick at different things.

I've only heard good things about Walt's though and will try it on my next visit. So I think you will enjoy whichever you go for.

I love both but would opt for Walt's on this occasion for this reason

especially as you already have character meals booked. Plus it gives you a good excuse to go back ~ for Inventions! :)

We ate at both in May for dinner and we much preferred Walts - can't beat the location, intimate atmosphere and pleasant server. At Inventions, there was a great range of seafood (good for me) but DH and DD weren't overly keen on the food - we also had a server that wasn't very friendly, which can make or break a meal.
