Has anyone seen the movie Inkheart? I was just wondering what ages it would be appropriate for. I have a DD9 who is starting to read the books. I also have a DS7. He's the one I'm not sure about. Thanks!

I saw it and I enjoyed it a lot. I was involved in the movie. It has a strong teen character and no bloody violence. I am surprised it hasn't done better at the box office. I can't say kid wise since my are long past the worry age but I thought it would be a good family movie.:wizard:

We went. It would be fine for a 7 Y.O.

Movie was OK, but quite frankly we wished that we would have waited till it went to the cheap theater. Both my girls were disappointed and thought the books were so much better.

Books were way better, like always, but it was so good seeing the characters come to life. Paul Bettany was brilliant as Dustfinger and worth the cost of the ticket alone. I don't know why it didn't do any better at the box office.

we took a group of my son's friends to see it for his birthday. They were 10 and 11. All loved it. Even DD who is 13 like it. I enjoyed the movie too.

Wait..wasn't Paul Bettany the SAME actor who played the albion monk Silas in The DaVinci Code?:confused3

Thanks everyone. I think I'll try to take the kids to see it this week.
