Initial Proposal

Just wondering how long it took everyone to get thier first propsal after this initial sale meeting? Does it matter on the size of the wedding you are having? We have been waiting for a month now. Just curious if this was normal. Thanks.

I had a phone planning session on 12-05 & recieved my BEO (banquet event order) the last week if January.

I was trying not to make it confusing LOL but I am talking about the very very very first meeting before you even have a contract signed. When you just go in and answer questions. We are having a 150-200 guest and our sales rep we met with was going to write up a proposal for the total cost so we knew about how much it was going to cost for everything. It was just an estimate and they were going to throw standard food, cake, etc. in so we could get an idea. Hope this clarifys

When we first talked to a SM on the phone, she sent me an estimate via email that day. (100 to 150 guests). Maybe you should contact her again "just to touch base" on the estimate.

I emailed her 4 days ago...still no reply...I guess I will just have to call now.
