Inglesina Swift - what is maximum weight limit? Is it 61 lbs?

I read somewhere 61 lbs, but can anyone confirm this?

"What is the maximum child weight for these strollers?

45 pounds (per seat)."

Is mac the only co. that sells strollers with higher weight limits? I'm trying to find something for my 6yo dd. She's only 40 lbs, but I always take a small cooler in the parks too. Any advice welcome!

Small cooler will fit at bottom of Maclaren stroller basket no problem. We use the one that fits 6 cans and is soft-sided.

Kidco strollers fit up to 50 lbs. But you would be surprised, my older Graco stroller fits my 80 lb almost 9 year old still and has a huge basket.

Thanks for the info. Do you know what Graco model you have? I did end up buying a new stroller last year, I think it had a 40-45 lb. max. weight, but when she's in it & the cooler/bags, you can tell that there is too much pressure on the wheels. I'm looking at so many strollers online, I'm befuzzled...

The graco model is a Glider SL or something, about 8 years old. Lots of people complain about Gracos, but mine honestly can carry a ton of stuff and a really heavy 8 year old. Check craigslist.org in your area for other strollers at great prices.

In the end, I would suggest buying a maclaren. I found www.specialtybaby.com to have great customer service and great deals.
