ING account?

I read through 4 pages and started getting bleary-eyed. So, here's my question:

Can I open a 2nd ING savings account in my own name using the same checking account I use with the account I have now? Or do I need a separate checking account

I want to save money for separate things and this would be an easy way to do it.

As far as the referral bonus. Can I refer myself for the 2nd account and get the bonus, or only if I use a different checking account?

Terri, I skimmed through the ING FAQ at the top of the page and found this on page 5

As far as I know, you can only open one account per SSN and get the bonus.

That's not saying you can't open another account linked to the same checking account, you just won't be eligible for the $25 referral bonus.
